How was your Memorial weekend?

Took the family and some friends camping in Morristown this weekend, It was raining and muggy and not to sunny at all BUT I had the time of my life. The kids played, road bikes and we even played volleyball on Sunday. We got in some time walking, The husband went way farther then me, But I give him credit for that one. I didn't gain any weight because I did make sure to watch what I was eating. All in all it was great..

Going camping again in 2 weeks with the kids again to Brainerd and that again I am sure will be fun.

We had a great weekend, part with out our kid and part with.

Stayed close to home, played some kickball, cleaned the house, went for a bike ride, made some great food.
And since my stomach has been touchy lately I lost 2lbs.

Actually felt like I got a weekend for once.

My son and I went camping, but the campground we chose was--ahem--not the nicest.  We only stayed one night, then came home.  To be fair, we only planned to stay two nights, so that wasn't a big sacrifice.  Went to my parents cabin to help with the dock and boat lift on Sunday with the whole family--siblings, nephews, dogs, etc.  That's always fun, even if the weather wasn't great.

Where are you camping in Brainerd?  We're going to Mille Lacs Kathio State Park in June, I'm looking forward to that.

I started my weekend up at my parents' cabin.  I had just started full liquids and was happy to just sit around some and try out some of my new food choices.  Held my own as we celebrated my daughter's bday there, and took a good long sniff or two of a really yummy smelling burger...

Ended the weekend at a really tough funeral.  Somehow I didn't eat any of the desserts served or the fried/cheesy comfort food that came later.  I was sad I didn't get to eat any, but happy at the same time that I didn't leave with that terrible feeling of having just gorged myself...

So- it's my first full week weigh in.  I know these numbers won't last, but today I am smiling.

Starting/Highest Weight: 313

I found it easy to not eat anything when I had the surgery, specially sweets and fried foods, I think it was more the thought of the pain and sacrifice I had just went through having the surgery and being on liquids.

All in all it looks like most had a great weekend.

Is it OK if I join in?  I'm a West Central MN habitant.  Been lurking on OBH for awhile and only posting a few times.
