Now, I get to wait....

I had my last appointment on Friday with the dietitian and all that is left to do is finish my phone call requirements with the insurance company...They require 5 phone calls to help me to incorporate exercise and healthy eating....While I am doing this calls (which are about 2 weeks apart), I should hear back in the next couple of weeks with my approval....I am not getting to excited yet since I don't have an approval yet but my insurance is one that actually covers the sleeve...Once I hear back from the insurance company then I will let you all know when my date is...and then maybe, just maybe I will be able to allow myself to get a little more excited....More to come.... ;-)

I'm not familiar with the sleeve, but I am familiar with the hurry up and wait thing.  It has been 8-1/2 years for me, but I still remember the unbarable waiting and would do it all over again in a heart beat if needed.  I pray that your wait is short and seemless.  Hang in there, that big day will get here sooner than you think.

Tick tock..... it seemed like I waited for ever. Then I was done, insurance approved me, and my date was set. Then I thought, wait a minute - I'm not ready yet! I'm 2 months out and am loving my sleeve. Keep checking in with us. 

Yes, I do have Healthpartners...The phone calls are about 2 weeks apart and I will have my third one on the 20th...I think that they are helpful but not sure that they are really necessary...my thought....It is a requirement so I am doing them....They can approve my sleeve before I finish the phone calls, so I guess knowing that I am approved will be well worth it in the end....Thanks for the support...

Yes, I agree with you....the phone calls seem so rehersed and you can totally tell that they are reading the information from a computer....Fortunately, I love reading the book...I would prefer to have the information in hand and if I need to talk to someone, I would rather talk face-to-face....I am not much of a phone chatter...
