RULE: I eat when the dog eats
I'm tweaking little by little in my plan to get back on track. The wonderful thing about the band is that it gives me time to tweak. Falling off the bandwagon for me just means I gained 2lbs and plateaued for 6 months... not bad in my books.
So I'm going down my checklist of tweaks:
1. Protein shakes for breakfast to let my band rest - DONE!!!
2. No drinking with meals - DONE!!!
3. No bad carbs - DONE!!!
I can't seem to control how many times I eat because I am not working right now and tend to eat more when I watch TV...so... my new rule is....
4. I eat when the dog eats! I have a foster pup that is underweight and I slowly have to get her back to a healthy weight. That means 3 small meals a day and 2 snacks in between. So that's the rule. When the dog eats, I eat... and if I eat, I have to feed the dog. I may be OK with hurting myself, but I sure as hell won't overfeed and make the pup sick! Sad to think that I care more about a dog's body than my own, but reality hurts.

Hey Elena! Reality bites, doesn't it?? I, too, tend to care more about my dogs and others than my own body. ugh!
I've been off track for about 3 weeks now, but still have managed to lose a couple of pounds. I've been traveling and working like a maniac and that has messed me up. I've been eating crackers during the night again! @#$%#%@ NO MORE OF THAT!!
i've been doing smoothies in the morning whi*****ludes the protein powder plus Greek yogurt. I've struggled to get my protein in as well as fluids these last weeks.
