Frustrated!!!!

So the weight loss surgeon that did my revision doesn't think all my stomach pain, burning and nausea is caused by something related to gastric bypass. Granted, the endoscopy, ct with contrast and upper gi with small bowel follow through were all "normal". But since the pain is caused immediately after eating, one would THINK this has something to do with our WLS anatomy?? I'm so frustrated. He said I should get a 2nd opinion from a gastroeneterologist. I've been in pain since the end of January and now this will set me back at least 3 more weeks until I can get an appointment. I'm not even sure I can see the doctor - usually they make you see the nurse practitioner, at least my other gastro doctor did. I'm back to eating only soft foods - at least I'll lose weight, but this isn't the way to do it.

 I'm so sorry to hear that! That must be extremely frustrating!!! I hope that one of them can give you a good idea as to what the problem is and what you can do about it!

Farrah...sorry you are having such pain and discomfort. Hope you can get someone relief soon.

Well I just about fell off my chair but the gastro clinic called me today and I have an appointment with the DOCTOR - TOMORROW! WHOO HOO!

I didn't think you should have to wait....Keep us posted....

Well for Pete's sake. Gastro doc said he thinks I have a hernia and to call the surgeon back. ARGH! He said it's only fixed by surgery. Round and round and round and round...
