Over 4 years out - WOW moment.
Yesterday as I was giving blood. I had an awesome WOW moment...even at 4 years out things still shock me.
I saw a machine set up at a station that no others had. I asked what it was for. And was told that is for people who give 2 units of red blood cells. But the gal told me that I couldn't do that because I would have to weigh "way" more. I then asked, why? She told me that for a woman you would have to weigh 150 or more...I didn't tell her that I'm at 160. But it was kinda nice to have someone "see" me as not weighing that much.
Just thought I'd share...Brightened my day that is for sure.

That's pretty cool - never heard of such a machine myself, and I've spent the vast majority of my LIFE over 150! I'm still always tickled that I have NO PROBLEM fitting into those chairs in the lab (with the flip-down tray deal) for my blood draws, every time I have to donate a pint.
And it IS pretty amazing how, as "FF" (former fatties), people mis-judge our weight - I still haven't broke south of 200, but people have guessed my weight at 175-180 a few times
It's those lead pipes we call bones. Makes our size very misleading.
Anyway, YAY YOU on the Wow! I'm less than a week away from my 4 year surgiversary, and I'm grateful every day for the changes WLS has brought to my life, even on my "I feel fat" days. All I have to do is look at my before picture to regain PERSPECTIVE.
