Well I had my first experience with "dumping"  Oh it was bad.  I always hated to throw up any way -tried to avoid the puking thing for an hour -(seems to me...just caused an extra hour of pain and discomfort!)  So I will try to get it "out" sooner -if I have learned anything from the experience -that would be it!   And I did learn to - -real quick!  It will be a while before I "do" chicken again!

Hey on a lighter note ...I have hit the 60lb mark.  So can't complain to badly about the dumping!

Kim,

Bummer it happened...Especially with something that is protein and good for you......It is better to just throw up, otherwise you just suffer till you do.....

Congrats on the 60 pounds....YAY for you...

Are you sure it was dumping and not just stuck?  Don't know that I have heard of anyone that dumps on chicken.  How was it prepared?

Chicken is often a tough for us...gets stuck pretty easy.  If its too dry, not chewed well enough....

Teri,

I dump if it is fried chicken.....It has to be baked for me.....:)

That would make sense...fried chicken has A LOT of fat...especially if you are eating the skin/fried part.  If you ate just the chicken you might have better luck.

That is why I asked how it was prepared.  Fried, bbq sauce, other coatings/sauces with high fat or sugar would make you dump,

It does sound like it was stuck, not dumping.  I know I have had chicken get stuck many many times, especially rotisserie chicken.  I think it is because I eat it too fast - it seems to form a "mat" in my stomach.

Anyway, whatever it was, it sounds unpleasant.  It is all such a learning experience.  I am 2 years out and still have episodes of food getting stuck, dumping, etc.  Not very often, but it does happen.

Great on the 60 pounds!
