One step closer to having the sleeve

I was sleeved about 5 weeks ago and love it.   After the first week I really felt pretty normal!  I've never had an issue with what I've tried to eat, no vomiting or feeling sick.  My only issue is that when I get cold, I am definitely colder than before surgery, but I think that's due to losing my blanket of fat!  :)

Jen, Cold? Me, too! My body's thermostat went from being set on "HOT" to "COLD". Maybe I'll enjoy summer this year. I've always been so hot I hated summer and loved winter. That might have changed. 

 Thanks for your input on things.   I just got a call from the surgeon's office today and my insurance authorized the sleeve.  My surgery is on 4/12 at United Hospital in St. Paul.   Now I just need to be sure I've done the liquid protein stuff well so there aren't any issues.    Is there a support groups just for sleeve people in the twin cities?

Congratulations! I'm not close enough to the Cities to go to any of the support groups. I wish I was. I'll bet your surgeon would know, tho.

You're going to love your sleeve. I think more and more people will opt for it as it bacomes more widely known. Have you checked out the VSG forum here on OH? It's been a ton of help to me. It's very friendly and there are some very knowledgeable people who post there.
