I have always been embarrassed of pictures of me.  I was always the one taking the pictures or hiding from the camera.  I can finally say that I am done with hiding.  I feel more confident!  So far I have gone down 6 sizes.  This is a picture of me in size 12 pants.  I haven't been that size since 1994.  I am ecstatic with my progress.   I don't have a before picture but my surgeons office does.  I will see if they can send me it when I have my three month checkup.

So far I have lost 30 pounds and I am down to the weight/size clothes I was in 1999, when my 27-year-old son was in the 9th grade! He has never seen me lower than the weight I am now. He lives in Woodbury and I live in Duluth, so we have not seen each other for awhile(too long,IMHO!). I think he will be pleasantly surprised. I have not taken any pictures of me since I lost the 30 pounds, but maybe I should...because when I look in the MIRROR all I see is the same me I was 30 pounds ago! I keep thinking if I look like this NOW, my gosh, how [bad]did I look then? Is that a normal way to feel after WLS?

Wow, you are very stunning. You remind me of a brunette  Isla Fisher or wait maybe Amy Adams... hrmm im all confused now!
