BIOTIN & CALCIUM ????

I was wondering if I should be taking my Biotin tablet and Calcium together.  I know I shouldn't take my Multi-vitamin at the same time as the Calcium.

I am not a doctor but I don't think taking your Biotin with your Calcium would be bad but taking your Vitamins and Calcium together is definatelly a no no.

Not sure....I always take my biotin with my vitamins....I always take my calcium alone.....


How ya doing? I didn't go to coffee this past weekend because I just needed a break from life.....I missed you all though....Marek has boy scouts this Saturday so I'll miss coffee again...

It seems to help with the hair loss issue.....I still take it at 3 years out, when I stopped taking it my hair started to fall out again...

Hi Kim:

I take my Biotin with my calcium.  I don't take my calcium with my multi.  HTH

ACK!! I had no idea we weren't supposed to take calcium and multi's together! I am going to have to reconfigure my schedule! How long should you wait between?? I'm on Levothyroxin for my Thyroid as well and can't take any cal or multi's with that.

Hey Heidi,

Yeah from the beginning Nutritionist said don't take Vitamin and Calcium together...something to do with absorption.  I believe it is at the least two hours.  I usually take my multi-vitamin with breakfast then calcium at mid morning then again mid afternoon then multi-vitamin again at dinner.
