On the brink of Onederland!

Bulldog [previously

I can't believe I'm 1 # away from Onederland!  I need to not be upset about what I read on the boards....everyone responds/reacts to this surgery differently. Everyone loses wgt at a different rate. Everyone's journey is unique.

I have to create a program that will work for me or I'll quit. I have to create my own workout program so it fits my personality and lifestyle or I'll quit. I have to keep working my program and changing/modifying it as I lose wgt. I have to be encouraged/motivated, even in the tough times, or I'll quit.

I am not a quitter. In fact, my Dad nicknamed me 'Bulldog' many years ago because I'm not a quitter....I sink my teeth in and hang on.

I am working my food and workout programs. I will succeed. I have modified my workouts as I've lost wgt to increase the rigorousness of the program. I will succeed. I am encouraged/motivated by postings on the MN forum and by friends and family. All things are possible with God. I will not fail.

I should change my username to Bulldog!

It is interesting that we do best by being supportive of others and get support for ourselves,YET in most ways it is an individual struggle with unique challenges and qualities.

I am in the process of qualifying for wls and just wondering what you think of Dr. Drew.  I have chosen him for my surgeon so it helps to know what others think.
