I guess there is a bit of a difference...

Decided to post this here to

I got to thinking about a post from yesterday about how you see yourself, and I could look in the mirror and honestly not see a difference. Even though people that see me say they can, I never did. I decided I should put a couple pictures next to each other. Well, I guess I can see there is a bit of a difference.

Well, 16 months have passed now, since I had my surgery. I feel good about the success that I have, but it is really starting to bug the hell out of me these past 4 months. I have been sitting around the 235-245 pound weight loss over this time. I get why it didn't go anywhere for 2 of the months because of other health issues that came up. But I really want to kick this thing in the ASS and get the last 35-60 pounds off that I want to lose. So, I guess it is time to change things up and up my protein levels, by adding some protein shakes in during the day, (my protein numbers have been good on just food alone), and really start to watching my carbs a lot closer than I have been. But on a bright note, I am less today then what I was before I went on the cruise, finally got rid of the water weight I guess. I also need to become more anal about my vitamins, because I have been scared as hell from them since last November.

There is a HUGE difference! Congrats on your hard work. The only way I can tell I've lost 52#'s is by looking at side by side pics, or by looking at my arms. What a journey!
Blessings to your continued success and renewed focus and commitment.

Oh Yes you are looking great. Try logging your intake and calories burned for a few days. You might find that revealing. It certainly is common to plateau for time after such a huge loss. Doesn't mean you have stopped, only that you body had decided to do other work in re-arranging things. I had a two month stall, then I found I had fallen off the wagon with snacking and less vigorous exercise. Stay on the trail and adapt and adopt new lifestyles.

I was told by another 200# loss person that the last 25 pounds was half of the work. So I just realized that this ain't gonna be easy no how no way......BUT DO-ABLE, keep on the trail to health.

240 pounds is a HUGE accomplishment....And there is a very big difference in how you look.....You lost a whole person.....Pat yourself on the back....WOW, that is impressive.....Great job.....

At certain points we stall out...And then we need to change things up a bit....Maybe eat more protein, do your workouts different....Lift weights or do cardio, or start running.....

Awesome job....Kelly

Jeff:

I found you to be an inspiring person when I chatted with you at the Forest Lake coffee last month.  These pictures just confirm what an impressive job you have done improving your health and should serve to inspire others.  Congratulations!!!!!!!

Wow, check out your bad self!   You've done an amazing job!  Having the desire to finish what you've started will help you out on the home stretch.  Keep doing the things that you know are right and have gotten you to where you are now.  Can you see the light at the end of the tunnel?  You should be able to.  The best of luck.
