OT: Please pray with me
My cousin is 20 weeks pregnant with her second baby and has been told her baby has Potter Syndrome which is a lack of kidneys or renal system. She and her husband need to decide to either terminate the pregnancy or allow the baby to go to term to have maybe a couple hours before passing away. This condition is 100% fatal and there is no way to fix it.
Please keep her in your prayers as our family supports them in this difficult journey.

My prayers are with them....I know exactly what they are going through.........This is one of the toughest decisions a parent has to make.....
Whatever they decide, just know they will be numb for sometime, and need all the love and support you can give.....

My thoughts and prayers are with them. I lost my second pregnancy early on - 9 weeks, but that baby is still in my thoughts and heart - eight years later I still wonder what might have been. I can't even imagine what they're going through, having to make that decision.

Thanks! I am going to be here for them no matter what. Its really hurts me because these are the kind of parents that every child deserves and would have in a perfect world. Whatever decision they make will be done in the best interests of the baby...not them.
I'm really glad they have their little girl tho...it will help them focus on her and get past the worst of the pain

My cousin and her husband decided to induce labor at 21 weeks and deliver rather than terminate. The baby was stillborn (as many Potters babies are) and they are going to have an autopsy done to discover if it runs in our family (not likely but possible) as this will help them decide if they will try again or not.
Thanks for the support, my family is really having a hard time with this. We are all here for her and her husband but it really sucks!
