Protein recipe question - can you cook or heat it up?
Kevin and I were debating this, but neither of us know the answer. I love the low sugar hot cocoa mix you just add water to I find it to be a satisfying treat with fluids. I thinking of making some from scratch at home (nonfat powdered milk, splenda, cocoa powder and SF pudding mix) Now for the question. Could I also add some Choc Protein powder to this? We were thinking that heat compromises the protein powder, but I know Kelly D bakes protein bars, so it must be ok? You know me, I love to get the most protein bang for my buck! Any thoughts or insight....... or better yet a recipe???? I'd appreciate it mucho much!

I am happy with Chamion, Dymatize and American Sports Nutrition products. I probably like them because I ordered them "flavored." I have peach cobbler, banana scream, orange dreamsicle, chocolate peanut butter and more flavors like that. I purchased them from supplimentwarehouse.com. Prices good bu****ch the shipping, especially on free or closeout items.
I have done a little bit of baking with it, with no problems.
I have also over-heated one with SCARY results. The Unjury Chicken Broth turned into a Jr. High science experiment when I failed to monitor the recommended temperature limit of the water I mixed it with.
So MY suggestion would be to heed the label. If it gives you a temperature limit, observe it. If not, ENJOY!
