st. paul surgeons....Dr. Kelly....questions?

Has anyone had St. Paul Surgeons Dr. Kelly for VSG surgery?  Just wondering what their procedure is as far as pre-surgery?  what and how much to drink the day before surgery?  Cathedar? How long is in and when do they put it in?  Are they good about pain meds after surgery??  How long is the actual surgery?  I know that the VSG is a new procedure so not too many have had this done yet but I'm sure he uses the same procedure as they RNY as far as prep.  I just tend to freak myself out and want to know ahead of time.....thanks!

What I would caution you about with St. Paul Surgeons is they give you VERY LITTLE information for post op. I have to e-mail the nutritionists with my questions as they don't have a packet of info to give you. I still struggle with what I can and can't eat.
