So last week I was sitting at a church meeting going over membership stuff with the pastor at our new church and we were sitting in the kids ministry area on metal folding chairs.  Now normally the only thing i would notice about a metal chair would be my back hurting but to my AMAZEMENT...after about 30 mins I noticed my butt hurting a bit.  So  sat and thought about it for a sec and realized...OMG the chair makes my butt bones hurt!

Now folks, please realize that sitting in a chair hasnt hurt my butt for EONS!  So I was rather shocked to notice that I can actually FEEL the stupid chair because I HAVE NO BUTT LEFT TO SIT ON!!!!!

WOW!

THAT, my dear, would be what we call a "WOW moment".  YAY YOU!!!

So is sitting on a metal folding chair without fear of it collapsing under you, right?

me too...me too.     We have wooden chairs at home and ever since about 15 lbs ago ...nothing but pain sitting in them.  I was mentioning it during dinner one night to the family and my daughter laughed and said, "Man, mom you have gone from, a birthing butt/hips to no butt!"   ME happy!

It really makes me feel good to have to ask for a cushion nowaday!  I have also mostly had to give up the floor as my place of residence!  LOL  I was notorious for sitting on the floor directly in front of the $2000 sofa!  It made a good backrest....

Im looking forward to ValleyFair with my kids this summer too!  I told them that was one of my major goals from having the RNY.

Any other WOW moments from anyone lately?  They inspire me!

Congratulations on the WOW moment!  Isn't it great?

I had a WOW moment this weekend, too.  I had to cull my closet and drawers of more clothes, so I went to Kohls to see if I could find some replacement pants.  A few weeks ago I was finally able to get into a size 14, which made me ecstatic.  Yesterday I grabbed some 14s off the rack, and grabbed a 12 just to see how far away I was from that size.  The 12s fit!  In fact, I didn't even try the 14s, put those back and found another 12 that fit.  So much fun!

I used to hate shopping b/c I'd never find anything that fit or looked good.  I remember leaving stores blinking back tears because I was so miserable and couldn't find anything.  Totally different experience now!
