Appeal was submitted-Insurance Approved!

United Healthcare approved the surgery today and all I need to do now is schedule the surgery. It seems like I have been working towards this for so long, but it has only been 8 months. Thank you everyone for your advise thus far. For those of us that are new in our weight loss journey, it is invaluable.

Congrats!! Glad ur surgery was approved. Mine took me almost 2yrs to get approved on other health issues as I did not meet the required BMI at the time. You will be on the losers bench soon! Keep us updated & good luck on ur journey.
