Move over people here I come
I had my meeting with my surgeon today and he went over his "stuff" and I told him that I'm still waiting for my approval from my insurance company. He told me it was "approved" and that I can schedule it. NOW I have my date for February 1st.
Why wait? Only downside is that I start my liquid diet tomorrow. Ready or not here I come.
I am happy, scared, stressed, exited all in one!
Way to go. Yep, no sense in a longer wait at this point. Get over the anxiety and look forward to a new life with new challenges. I am almost a year out and I so much like the things I HAD to learn along the way. There are so many challenges, yet it is so much worth it to feel and be healthier. I wish you the best and a speedy recovery.

I second the recommendation to measure yourself, and take regular pics too, as you progress.
I didn't measure beforehand, and I lost so fast I decided measuring was too late, so I've never done it. Silly, 'cause it still would have been good to know.
Do it before the liquid diet too, you will be surprised at how much that helps.
