HOSPITAL CHOICE?

United is where I had my surgery (RNY) Dr. Kelly.  I had my reservations (see post back in December)  I had some really bad things happen at united (back in the 80's -Grandma's death) and then my Dad back in 1999 -Dad didn't die, but it was bad care.  ANYWAY....I was really a nervous wreck -when I found out Dr. Kelly wanted my surgery at United.  But, I heard a lot of good things about them and especially about their Bariatric Center.  So I did my best to calm my fears and headed to United the day of the surgery.

WHAT A WONDERFUL SURPRISE!  I could not stop talking about the care I got -to my family when I got home.  The nurses were just so caring and understanding and the PCA's where always around to help!  It MADE the whole experience just wonderful...even the pain can be handled better when your nurse is encouraging you to "push" the pain medicine button!  Always making sure I was feeling good ....All were just so wonderful...one nurse really stood out for me...Angela.  If you choose United I have no doubt you will find the same.  Take care.

Thanks Kimberly!!  That is great to hear!  Even makes me more excited, I just wish I could have this done like today and be on with the rest of my new sleeve life!!!  Good luck to you on your journey!
