Duluth/Surrounding Area Coffee/Lunch Group...Anyone?

It's getting closer...I'm moving to the area soon...Probably Cloquet or Hinckley...as of yet I'm still homeless...lol

Anyways...is there a coffee group already started or anything?

I went to Duluth last week...it's pretty but scary to drive in...the hills freak me out...:)

Hi!  I'm in Duluth...6 plus yrs out from RNY...struggling but still at 80-100lbs lost.  Would love to lose more but really need to get back on the ball.   My husband had lap band here about 1 1/2 yrs ago as well and has lost 60-70lbs.   A Duluth area coffee/lunch would be great...we used to have one but haven't for a long time!

          I am planning on meeting at some out-state coffee's when the weather warms up. I figure it is a good reason to go on a motorcycle ride......

Do you drive a clutch/manual?
If not, don't even talk to me about hills! LMAO! I lived there and it's a great city. You will enjoy the lake in the summer for sure. That walking path along the North Shore is magnificent.

No clutch for me. I drive a big sexy mini van....LOL My car died in July so Dad was like here, drive this...I won't complain...It's funny I look like a soccer mom! :)

I really hope we can get more interest in starting a coffee group for Cloquet or something. I'm excited to meet some WLS peeps! :)

Hi! I live in Duluth.  I know nothing about any groups, but I found out a week ago, that the "team" approved me for surgery(banding) and now it is in the hands of God and the insurance company. I am really excited.

Woot woot! How exciting!!! 

I'm thinking we need a Cloquet group. I'm moving my stuff up to Moose Lake on the 23rd. I got an apartment right next to the prison. We'll get 'er organized! :)

Hi Leigh, Just now seeing your posting.  My daughter and I both live in Cloquet and we are both banded.  We would love to be part of a support group.  With the other responses that you got from folks we could get a nice group started and grow from there.  Both Kristina and I are on Face Book. You will love the area..We have lots of outdoors places to enjoy whatever activity you like.  I do lots of hiking and snowshoing in Jay Cooke State Park right outside Cloquet in Carlton.  I work at a fitness center but rather be outside.
