hello
Just wanted to say hello. I am soon (hopefully and god and insurance company willing) to be a VSG success story. I have to do my stress test (due to a previous carotid artery surgery) and my psych eval, then can be submitted for insurance approval. I have prayed and crossed all my fingers and toes. I can't wait to be able to to do all the things I havent been able to do because of my weight. My 12 year old granddaughter said she is buying me roller blades so we can go together. LOL this could be great entertainment.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello. I hope you all have a happyNew Year!

Just wanted to wish you the best of luck, it's a heckuva ride!
I also had a thought - and this is more a commentary on myself than you or anyone else, but losing weight does not make one a roller blade queen. I'm MUCH better with things that don't require a great deal of coordination, like snow tubing!

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
Well - I have my stress test on the 6th, my 2 hour psych questionairre (?????) on the 10th - my first meeting with the psychologist the 13th and my last (hopefully) with him the 27th. If all goes well I could be scheduling this in February. I can't wait.
And you're right on the roller blades thing... trust me knee - elbow - wrist pads and a helmet are definitely going to be worn...
