Park Nicollet surgeons to avoid?
I will probably pursue WLS at Methodist in St Louis Park. I am leaning towards lab band, but am still researching what will be the best option.
I was curious- is there a specific surgeon at PN Methodist that I should avoid? If so, why? I want someone who is nice, and willing to work with me to help me make the best decision.
Thanks!
Lisa

Nope! They're all awesome!
If they find any reason to steer you towards one surgery over another, give their recommendation serious consideration. Otherwise, they'll listen to you and your reasons for prefering whichever surgery you are leaning towards, and guide you through it!
Good Luck!

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
I agree, I have only heard great stuff about all of the surgeons at PNC. I loved Dr. Jones. he was straight forward and honest. He was blunt and straight to the point. The only thing that sucks is that after your surgery, you will not see him much. Dr. Jones has not completed many VSG, but many RNY and lapbands. I was a bit worried being his 40th VSG, but he was very thorough and even let the CO2 gas escape before stitching me up. AND this is a big deal because if it was left in, I could have been in a lot of pain. I was in a bit of gas pain, but not much at all. Good Luck and please do your research.
