I really can't imagine nail biting will be an issue for your pouch - even if you swallow the nails you bite off, the quantity is negligible.

I was a nail biter most of the time - but I always spit 'em out.  (THERE'S a lovely mental image, eh?)  I have found my nails are actually quite nice now!  I credit the vitamins and supplements for that.

I was a nail bitter too-I finally decided that I was worth 40$ a month to get my nails done. My nails have never been nice, thyroid problem took care of that. But I get compliments on my nails all the time, they don't get fake looking when done by someone *****ally knows what they are doing, they are short because of work, but they look really nice and I am proud to have them looking like I always wanted-give yourself a little gift a couple times a month, no one can borrow them from you
