Dr. Jones at Methodist hospital

Hi all,

I am scheduled for VSG surgery with Dr. Tom Jones this coming Tuesday 12/14... Has anybody had him for any procedure? If so, which one? And were you in any pain after surgery?

I had him for RNY and found him very personable. I feel he did a very good job. After surgery I was in pain. The nurses took amazing care of me. I had pain meds there and some to take home. As I have come to find out, that is normal!! The nurses are really the greatest advocates in your after surgery care, and at Methodist I think they are pretty upstanding!

I did not have Dr Jones...I had Dr Svendsen but I DID have my surgery at Methodist just a couple weeks ago and had a great experience.  I had pain control issues but the nurses tried several different things until they discovered what helped.  I was never left to just suffer with the pain and I was never made to feel bad for saying I needed pain control. 

I was very pleased with the entire experience with PNC and Methodist.  Good Luck!

Dr. Jones ROCKS!  He's WAY good, and really cares about his patients!  You'll be in good hands  :)

Roxicet rocks, too - just sayin'.....

I am another huge fan of Dr. Jones.  He did my RNY and I had no pain issues at all.  You are in great hands and the nurses at Methodist and Park Nicollet are the BEST!!!
