Only 10 more days til RNY. The excitement and fear levels rise by the day.  Still a couple slips with snacks, but I am below my target weight....Wish the 15th was here!!!!

You chose an excellent surgeon. start practicing your new lifestyle, by no drinks near meals etc. I wish you the best surgery, complication free.Adopt you Dr's. instructions. There be some pain and gas for a coupleof weeks, but it will pass soon. It is one of my better life choices

It will come quickly.  Make sure you have done your shopping for everything you will need after surgery.  Have your liquids, SF pudding, broth etc.  Yes, do practive your eatting separately from drinking etc.  Have all of your supplements and vitamins, your medication list etc.  Be prepared, you may not feel up to going out to get things for at least a week or when off pain meds.

I wish you the very best success.  I'm approaching my 1 yr post op and can say it was the best decision I ever made for myself.
