I visited her for a bit yesterday, and this girl is doing AWESOME!  I was SOOOO out of it the day after my surgery, but she was sitting up, alert, and lookin' pretty damn good!  Leigh is rocking this thing!  You're doing great, girl!

 Hi to both of you in the hospital!  I promise it will get better.  Surgery was such a gift to me and I am so happy to have done it.  You will be too!  Heal, rest, sip, sip, sip and do what they tell you to.

Thanks! I still have this evil NG tube in. Dr. Ikk put it in right after Sarah visited...and its been two days. I feel like I'd recover faster if I didn't have it in because I'd be able to move around more and shower and drink water. Ugh! I'm a big whiner!

Leigh i know exactly what you mean about the ng tube it sure sucks!!!  I had mine in when i woke up from surgery and they didnt take it out till day#3.   You will be totally grossed out when they take it out but it is a total relief i hated that thing i couldnt even talk my mouth was so dry.  take care and it really does get better!!!!   Margie
