I was sitting here today going over all my old paperwork, because yet again I was slipping into some bad habits.....I read my letter I had to write to the insurance company on why I NEEDED WLS.....That letter brought tears to my eyes......It reminded me why I had WLS, and why I am grateful....On that note....

I'm Grateful and Thankful for life....To be here and experience new and wonderful things.

I'm Thankful for family, my WLS friends, My Saturday WLS coffee friends You guys ROCK,  OH, being able to walk/run, exercise in general without feeling like I'm going to die....

I'm Thankful for my Bariatric Doctor, Dr. Jeff Baker, and his staff...

I'm so Thankful for my RNY, it has changed my life. I'm a totally different person, I like the new me....And on that note I need to respect my RNY and be more mindful of what I eat and get in my exercise.....

I could go on and on....But just wanted to put this out there....So what are you Thankful for?

I am thankful for a second chance.

My diabetes forced my into a spiral of poorer and poorer health. I was tired all of the time and hungry too. The more I ate the hungrier I became.

Now I feel like a little energizer bunny and many of my prior limitations have been lifted.

I am really thankful for my Saturday WLS support group. What a helpful group of really fine individuals.

Hey Kel -

I am thankful that I get to wake up every morning and see another sunrise!

I am thankful that God gave me the most wonderful daughters and for their unconditional love I get every single day!

I am thankful that I have Dave to enjoy my life with.

I am thankful for all the coffee peeps - they are the very BEST people I have ever met.  There are no judgements passed, when you go, you know that you can talk freely and get a response that will most likely help you in your journey.

I am thankful for my dear friend Lisa - simply love her like no other, she is my "sister" in so many ways, we are sharing this journey together and have both embraced it.

I am thankful for so much in life, but mostly for the opportunity to still be here to BE thankful for it.  Thank you to all that have made the difference in my life!!!

Kelly - Loving life and enjoying every day as if it were my last!!!  Life is GOOD today!!!

I'm thankful for all my family who love me and have faith in me no matter what.

I'm thankful for my WLS!  It's been such a huge blessing in my life, helping me to be a healthier,  happier me.

I'm thankful for all the friends I have met on this journey, most especially the Saturday morning coffee group.  You guys are awesome!
