Now you are Rico Suave???

 OK, so I have this icky neighbor guy.  He is a total Dick Head, and that is being kind on my part.  He treats his over weight wife badly (even though he's got plenty of surplus on himself).  Anyway, long story short.  The man couldn't bother to utter a full sentence to me last year when I weighed 270.  I mean he was absolutely rude to me.   

Well I've lost 146 lbs and NOW he's suddenly Rico Suave!  He can't find enough reasons to talk to me and will TRY and flirt with me at neighborhood functions, of which we have many.  My husband, who is never jealous, wants to TASER the guy (insert giggle here, the visual makes me laugh, sorry)  He knows I wouldn't touch the guy if he was the last man alive, but he's not happy that the way he looks at me "is just wrong".  However he will NOT do it in front of my husband, then he won't even look at me.

So anyway, I was wondering if your "new you" has gotten you any unwanted attention?  Everyone here knows I had the surgery and have been very supportive, husbands too have been super nice, only this guy is EXTRA ICKY!  So I just avoid him completely when I can and try to just laugh it off.  

So anyway, I just had to share and spread some of ICK around!    Thanks for listening!

 I haven't had any of that unwanted attention, but then I haven't reached goal yet either. 

On the other hand, I have noticed that certain people at work treat me differently.  I have not kept my surgery a secret or anything, but there are guys who will now have a conversation with me, when I was sort of just furniture before.  I find it annoying, since I don't feel that I am in anyway a different person than before.  

One's value in the world should NOT be determined by one's weight!!

Man what a pile of ****  Just look at him right in the eyes next time he says something, and say ...." excuse me I think your a real asshole"  he will be so stunned and maybe won't ever talk to you again.  I hate men like that, and Like my DARLA LOU would say  "you can't fix stupid"  If you have mace  I would mace his ass (actually the eyes) LOL  he will for sure leave you alone.  Maybe his wife could use some too......... LOL

Ugh!  What a jackhole!  There are several people who are nicer to me now that I'm half the person I used to be but I just make a point not to socalize with those people because I don't want their stupid to rub off on me!  LOL

I feel bad for his wife....well sort of....there could be more to that!
I have a guy that does that to me too..after I lost the weight he decided I could be his girlfriend...NOT. I love turning him down!! I tell him he missed out...I am the same person I was when I was heavier. He is still trying after almost 3 years!!

Yes, I have had my share of male attention....Lately it's the 20 year olds, and that just creeps me out....We were at The Press Bar in St. Cloud listening to a band and this 24 year old walks up to my hubby, shakes his hand, hugs him and proceeds to tell my hubby that he has the most gorgeous wife or girlfriend in the place, OMG.....Then he proceeded to hug me.....I just laughed, I was stunned and didn't know what to think or do.....My hubby laughed, THANK GOD, and told the kid, Yep I do have the most beautiful wife.....

Anyhow, let that guy know what you think.....That he should concentrate on his wife, not you.....

I had something very similar happen to me last week.  I work part-time at a bingo hall and there is this guy that goes there quite regularly.  He is very annoying and is a typical "player"  he will go from table to table talking to all of the women that are not with men.  When he is turned down, he moves right on to the next one.  Well, a year ago, he wouldn't think of paying any attention to me (thank God!!).  He did however make my job harder whenever possible.  I'm the caller and apparently I would never call his numbers, like I have any control over that.  So he would entertain himself by calling false bingos so I would have to stop the game.  Any how, last week I walked by him and I could see him do a double take.  Then he came up to me and said "Brenda! Girl!  What have you been doin?  You're lookin' FINE!!!"  I litterally gagged.  Then later on, I was talking to a co-worker and he said "Girl!  You still ain't callin my numbers even though you are lookin fine!  What's up?"    Now it's an ongoing joke with my co-workers.  LOL!   I told my boyfriend about it and he just laughed.  He knows who the guy is and knows that he is definately not a threat of any kind. 

Getting the "new attention" is definately something to get use to.
