Got my Date !!!!!

I seen my Surgeon yesterday and I see my Dietician this morning. My Surgery Date is DEC 21 @ 10:45......They are Booked up for the rest of the Year. No Appts available they say till after the 1st of the Year...I get my Very own Christmas Present. My Life. I am so excited but scared at the same time. I really can't wait till the Day..So Excited

Congratulations Tam on your surgery date/Christmas present! Now time for all that prep for the big day. Hang on, its a wild ride, but well worth it in the long run. Keep us updated. We are here for ya if you have questions or want to talk.

CONGRATS! And as the others have said, use this time pre-op to get your head in the game. Practice all the new habits you need to form as if you've already had surgery, and it'll be less intimidating AFTER you have it. If you haven't yet, get involved in a support group, coffee gathering, whatever you can to get support, inspiration and encouragement on your journey, 'cuz it's not just a short term thing, it's for the rest of your life - you want to do it right!
