I found a great Calcium Citrate pill

 Was out of Calcium and found this at Costco.  Made by Bayer.

Citracal Calcium Citrate + D3  tablets

Vit D3 - 500IU
Calcium Citrate - 630mg

Now, they are pretty big pills but you can easily split them if needed.  I can get them down without a problem, which is saying a lot since I had problems for the first 4-5 months with that.   But I just saw that Drugstore.com has them in Petite size as well.

So anyway, we know Calcium Citrate is so much better than Calcium Carbonate, so I thought I'd pass it along.

 Please check and see if the dose-serving size (630mg) is one tablet or two. This is where my doctor corrected me when I was taking the horse sized tablets. I had to start taking 6-8 tablets a day. I thought I was doing so well with three........

I get the same thing at Sam's Club. Two tablets = 630mg.  The Sam's version is about $9-$10 for 400 of them, so they last awhile.  They are big, but they can be cut in half. I'm able to get one down without cutting it, though. I also take two of them three times a day. 

 BANG - the sound of my balloon busting!   Paul, you  are exactly right!  Dang it!  I misread the label!  Well, gees, if I'm going to have to have 6 a day, I, in theory, shouldn't really even NEED food now should I?  I would be so full from those!

Oh well, I guess the fact that it is Calcuim Citrate is a thing and since my arthritic hips are deteriorating into bone on bone, I'll have to suck it up and just do it!  Thanks for pointing it out Paul and saving me from myself....... I thought I had all figured out!  Not the end the world.
