Friday. What did you do right this week?

OK OK...we all can find the slip ups, the not so perfect, the wish I did better, the...you fill in the blank.

That time has passed.  It is no longer here.  What it is, is what it is.

Now, refocus your lenses.  Don't say you did nothing right.  My goodness, your hands aren't calloused from using them to walk instead of your feet!  So you did that part right!  Your face is not caked with food that you smeared on it because your aim was off!  So you did that part right.

Go ahead and dig deep if you have to.  Reinforce the positive.  Celebrate you.

A wise friend this week told me that I was a special person.  I really needed that love.  So I pass this on to you, reader.  Why not share with someone you know that they are warmly thought of?  Send an old fashioned little card in the mail.  You know, the 99 cent ones?  Better still...make your own.

Now, take all that really good untapped energy and smile, appreciate, count your blessings, and do good to you ... to your loved ones...to a stranger.

Can't wait to hear your things you have done right!!!
Have a wonderful Friday, All!
~Tere

Hi, Tere.

What I did right this week was finish the 5DPT, go the gym and work out on my planned days, and had very little in the way of carbs.  I also brought donuts and fruit to work (it was my day to bring treats), and did not have a donut.  That makes me happy!

I bought a walking dvd and walked 2 miles.  I sweated.  It was awesome.  I didn't yell at my kids.

Used my upcoming trip as motivation to respect my tool, and dropped 6.

Stayed married.

Witnessed the FINAL demise of my daughter's relationship with her mega-loser of an EX-boyfriend - WITHOUT doing too much of a happy dance in front of her!

being 9 days post op, and home for 7 days now, I feel I succeeded lots. Made it thru the "full liquid" stage with no issues, started my pureed stage today. Since last friday when I got home, I been walkin 3-4 times a day outside, which i started one day after I got home.
Thank you for posting this idea...

Had a great week, got all my protien in and stuck to our meal plans. Doing lots of extra projects trying to get everything done before the snow starts to fly, and still walking at the mall.  Great idea for a post....thanks  Jamie
