Thanks for that Kelly-I like to read stuff like this as I most assuredly have an addictive personality!! I've ALWAYS been so aware of it too because there are so many alcoholics in my family and although I have never had a drinking issue, I'm freaky about it!
Something that stood out to me was the following paragraph as I recently was on a liquid pre-op diet-
"Characteristic withdrawal symptoms; substance taken to relieve withdrawal. (Many people undergo a "healing crisis" that has many of the same symptoms as withdrawal when removing certain foods from their diet."
I had the WORST head ache after about three days and it lasted for a couple days. I found out that it's common and kind like a "withdrawal" of sorts after stuffing my body with **** all these years!! Amazing what food does to us!!
