Day 2 of 5DPT...better than expected
Well, I'm almost done with 2-days of liquids. I've never looked more forward to soup in all my life. LOL. I also drank more water than I have in a long time...granted what I'm supposed to be drinking but I just don't. TMI - sure am pee'ing a lot too. Must have a lot to detox out!

Your doing great.....I'm on day 5 today....WL of 4 pounds but I feel more restriction now so that's what counts......Now the real work starts by eating healthy and not grazing.....We can do it.....
Hey Kathy,
Glad to hear things are going well for you! Yes, Day 3 brings soft proteins which is a very nice change after only liquids!!! I've had several deviled eggs, a tuna/salmon patty and a couple CIB's with instant coffee, Mmmmm. Plus my water. I was hoping for more restriction feeling with the tuna/salmon patty but maybe it was more mental. I'm used to being bloated and uncomfortable. lol.

I'm glad to hear you girls are doing SO well! I had to peter out after day one. I kept feeling like I was going to pass out - I'm just working out too hard to try this just now.
What it DID do for me though was to encourage me to get back to basics as well. NO drinking with or after meals. I was in a pretty bad funk about doing that. WHAT A DIFFERENCE THAT ALONE MAKES! Holy cow... I get full much much faster and am noticing it sooner.
Congrats to you for sticking to it - I've decided that burning 500-800 calories a day through exercise is a good enough excuse to not beat myself up over not making it the 5 days.
hang in there!

Wow - working out that much, I can see where you would need much more fuel that the liquid diet! I definately think that burning 500-800 calories a day thru exercise means you need no excuse for not doing the 5 days. That is incredible - good for you!
I agree that this is getting me back to some basics. I, too, had started drinking with meals again, and lapsing into other bad habits, not sticking with the "rules". It does make a huge difference when I do what I'm "supposed" to do.
Keep up the good work!
Kathy
