Darla:  A great big hug to you!  I'm sorry you're going through so much, but be kind to yourself!!  You are doing so well and will continue to do so.  We are all in your court, so hang in there!

Darla my friend, I am so sorry you are going through all of this!!  You are a remarkable woman and much stronger than you give yourself credit for.  This is your time to lean on us all.  I hope everything starts to come together for you.  It is hard to have your life in limbo for so long.  Use your trust and faith in god now more than you ever have, he'll understand.  If there is anything besides keeping you in my prayers I can do for you please let me know!  Hoping your husband feels better soon and your daughter get the strength needed to walk away completely!  Donna

I was quite the troubled teen myself, I'm sure my parents entire head of grey hair was from me :(  It took me a few years to "get it", but eventually I did.

Two quick thoughts come to mind here:    This, too, shall pass.   AND - Darla, you are wonderful. 

Don't change that, just be your ol' wonderful self and keep taking one step/one day as it comes.  We have to rely on each other and on God and you're doing that.  You are in my thoughts and prayers today, dear one.

 Oh Darla, I am so sorry that you keep getting dumped on!  I can see how those damned cookie seduced you!   WTH I wanted to eat cookies just having read your post!  Big hugs and lots of prayers are coming your way.  I hope your husband gets some help and answers.  I'll also pray that your daughter has a sudden clarity that Mr Right Now is simply Mr Wrong.

Adding my thoughts and prayers for your lives to straigthen out ASAP if not sooner.  I don't get the cub ads, closest one is in Duluth.  But the other stores have similar ads when I don't need to see them.  Stand firm in your resolve to be kind to yourself.  Hugs form northern MN to you.

I wish I could personally hug and thank each and every one of you for your kind, supportive, caring replies.  It has been very helpful for me, to be reminded to take care of myself, and to always remember with faith that someday, 'this, too, shall pass'. 

I am not a 'bible-banger', nor do I play one on TV.  But throughout this horrible time, I have come to rely on my faith, and the caring comments I have received - many from those of you I haven't had the pleasure to meet in person.  I hope you understand that you have made a difference to me.  And I hope that if/when YOU struggle, you will feel comfortable enough to come here to share your struggles, so that you can receive the same kind of support I have.

I have also made up my mind that IF I ever get another tattoo, it will be the words "Thy Will Be Done" - in beautiful calligraphy, with a cross somehow incorporated into it (the "T" in Thy, probably...?).
