For once, it's HER turn!
Right now, in Dr. Ikrammudin's surgical suite, is a dear, sweet, beloved friend of mine. She has pushed through the worst of the worst, including cancer, and she is finally in surgery having a revision to the DS.
RondaK has been a member of this board longer than I can remember and she has encouraged most everyone here at one time or another, been a cheerleader while she'd rather be cheered for, and honestly has just never given up. She knew that with perseverance came some pain, but she also knew that her gut still told her to keep on going. She did her time and jumped through the hoops. She kept faithful and steady.
Last week when yet another hurdle was thrown in her path the morning of her surgery, she stopped. She looked at the hurdle. And then she jumped it! And with a little re-working of some schedules, Dr. I. was able to get her back on the schedule for today.
I know her journey is not unlike some on this road, but I have gotten to know her personally and am truly blessed to have Ronda in my life, and I am excited to share that she is officially on her way back to Loserville!!!
I hope you will join me in welcoming Ronda to the infamous Loser's Bench!
