Health Partners Phone Sessions???

That is also what they told me but I do not like to wait so I called HP and they said to call St. Paul Surgeons and ask them to send the referal so I did that and then HP called me about 1/2 hr later to set up my first phone session.  When I attended the information session for St. Paul Surgeons they said HP is one of the Insurance agencies that DO cover the sleeve (just very recent)  Are you with St. Paul Surgeons?

I have looked into all of the options and I have chosen the RNY. I believe its the best one for me. And for the one that has not heard from HP for the phone sessions. They call you themselves once they get the referral from the Dr Office. Just a heads up in case you monitor your calls (some people do) it comes up Journeywell on Caller ID. Call the Dr Office again and make sure that they did the Referral. Do not wait around wondering or it takes longer. Stay on top of everything all the way to your surgery

HealthPartners covers the Verticial Sleeve Gastrectomy with Duodenal Switch or DS, have you considered this as a surgical option?  U of MN Ikramuddin or Buchwald ?
