VSG anyone?

Just wondering if anyone on here has had the Sleeve surgery and how that went or is going?  Results?  Seems most of these posts have had the RNY.  Just curious...

I'm curious, too. I'll be having VSG some day - sooner rather than later, I hope - and would like to hear what anyone here has to say about it. There are a lot of RNYs out there, not many VSGs.

I have a DS, which is the same stomach as a VSG, though probably slightly larger than a stand-alone VSG.  I love the way it works.  At just over a year out with a DS sleeve, I can eat 1/2 to 1 cup of food, depending on how dense it is and how long I take to eat it.  I have a very well-defined sensation of fullness, which I never had before.  I love it!

I was poking around on the internet and found this http://www.bariatric-surgery-source.com/gastric-sleeve-surge ry.html  It speaks well of the VSG procedure and confirms, for me, the decision to go this route. I hope you find it useful.
