Health Partners and PNC

So good news, I set a date for my phone sessions and should be donw by Dec. 8th. That is great news. However, I do have some questions for those who may be familiar with this process. Do I have to wait until the phone sessions are done before I can request approval?

This is just one of the hoops you need to gp through. You have to be done with the sessions before surgery is scheduled, there is a certificate of completion. I finished these well before I was done with the psychologist.

Yes sorry to say you can't get Approval till they know that your done. I had the same Question so I looked it up on the HealthPartners Website and of course it said that you have to Complete the 5 Sessions BEFORE Approval. It was in Bold Letters. So was a little dispointing to me but I will get through it. I am waiting for call #3 Next week, which is my Fitness Call. The Lady that calls me told me I will talk to her at least 1 more time. Should be 2 times but I am not going to argue. If she gives me a certificate of completion I will accept it. They say 1st Call does not count but I am just wondering if it does. Hmmmm. I am going to let PNC know when my last Phone session is scheduled. They said to let them know and they will Submit paperwork. Says we cant Submit but I look at that PNC knows what they are doing. I will let you know how it turns out for me. We have same insurance and going to same Clinic...I have my Sleep Apnea Test on Sept 26th (overnight) and my 2nd set of Appts on the 27th the next day so its ok that I have to do these Phone Appts. It all is working out and falling into Place. Now just wondering how long it takes to see Surgeon and get my Surgery Date???
