Feeling anxious
Susie
130 lbs in a year seems awesome!! When is the last time you did that?
The weight lost sure does slow down the longer out from surgery you are. The longer out the harder you have to work at it that is for sure. I'm 2yrs and 9 months out and have lost 160lbs. I have really not lost much this last year but have maintained. I think its all about the basics remember protien, water, and quanity. I also think that exercise is key to success in addition to the other items. Sometimes your body just needs to play catch up..
I'm not sure where you started but 230lbs in the first year seem a bit extreme. Just keep working at it and I'm sure things will be just fine! Its not a race to the finish and then you are done. Its certainly a work in progress for basically the rest of your life. I would highly suggest attending a coffee group on Saturdays to get to know others and to learn from them and they can learn from you too!! I would have been lost without those groups!
You are doing great!!!
Best wishes.
How do you feel? If you concentrate on how you are feeling--more active, more energy, clothes fit better, etc--perhaps you will be able to feel less anxious. If you're headed in the right direction, you'll get there--doesn't matter how long it takes.
You will lose more...just change up your eating and exercise routine a bit. Sometimes that is all it takes.
I am wishing you the very best....don't give up!!!
