I am just a bit over 1 month post op.  I was wondering if it is normal to still feel so weak?  I still have a hard time getting my exercises in because I am so tired all the time.  I feel that I am getting my protein in and I take my vitamins.  But daily I struggle with energy.  My blood work prior to wls was just fine.
I was wondering if anyone else feels likes this and if this is normal or no?  Is there any advice out there for me.  I am concerned about not getting my exercises in but I really am always tired.  anything out there to maybe boost up my energy.
My Dr. says it will get better and just keep trying, but I hate this lack of energy feeling!!

I was exhausted until around 6 weeks or so.  Although, I was still on pain meds at that point too!  I could barely walk 5 minutes without having to take a nap.

It takes time, but your energy does come back!

Make sure you are getting in all our water.   Not enough water in this hot weather will make you  feel tired.  Yes things get better with time. Good luck.  brenda

I agree with Brenda. It is important to make sure you get your minimum 64 oz per day and with this heat you will need more. dehydration will make you very tired and weak.

Are you on any blood pressure meds?  I felt the same way only to find out that my blood pressure was too low. They took me off one of my meds and I was fine after that.
