Susan G Komen - 3Day - Anyone?
Just curious if anyone is planning to do the Susan G Komen 3-Day (60 mile walk) this year?
It is August 20-22 so it's less than 2 weeks away.
I signed up for this in April at my 1 year anniversary and still can't believe I did it. Training for this event has keep me active all year. It would be great to meet other walkers with weight loss surgery in common. If no one is going this year, maybe a WLS team next year??? It's amazing what we can do now!!

I have done it in the past. I walked it in 05, the first year they had it in MN. Then I have volunteered each year after that. Just wasn't sure where I would be at this year just a month after surgery. I will be there next year for sure!
It was the most amazing thing I have done! So undescribable! You will see what I mean when the weekend if over. It looks like a great weekend, hope you have an amazing time. Remember "Drink and pee, no IV"! lol
