Absolutely unreal......

I've had a lot of little WOW moments that will take the time to share, but just haven't had the time to post them lately... so busy right now over here.
I started this journey is a size 24 pants.....

I came to Korea in a size 12, never thinking I'd see the one-digit sizes. Then my 12s got too big so my mother shipped over some 10s that fit perfectly.

Recently they started getting big and I was confused... maybe I stretched them out (the mind plays games, ya know...)

So I emailed my mother and asked her to send me size 8. She kind of laughed because she is a size 10 now and I've pretty much never been smaller than her. She went shopping and got white capris (yes, WHITE) and two jeans... she said none of them fit her and if they don't fit me, not to worry.

Last week I received the pants... and they fit! At first I had suspicious thoughts that maybe she changed labels on me but I tried on a friend's size 8 and they fit too! I can't believe it.... it's unreal. The fact that I can wear size 8... and WHITE... and CAPRIS... is all mind-boggling to me.

DAMN  that is just AMAZING..............  Keep it up................

You are beyond beautiful!  I haven't met you in person, but reading your positive posts, I'm sure you are as beautiful inside as you are on the outside!

You have had incredible succcess with the lap band!  I've wondered about it, because I've known several people who haven't had success with the band - they've lost little or no weight.  That's part of the reason I chose not to get the band.  Can you share how you've been so successful?  It's obviously too late for me, but maybe you can help others out there who are considering which surgery to have.  I'd love to hear more about how you've done so well.

 Thanks :) I have kept a blog ... that I need to update lol.... of my journey. I guess the keys to my success are going to support groups, doing a TON of research, tweaking things as soon as I plateau... and just being persistent and patient. I went on some MAJOR plateaus and some backslides, but you just have to keep on keeping on. There is no other direction but down in weight. I need this to live healthy the rest of my life. :)

I remember when you were HOPING to see your goal of 185...  and I remember thinking to myself (perhaps I even shared the thought out loud -) 'damn, MY dream goal is 185, and I'm like a foot taller than her!' 

I KNEW you'd be more like 140-150ish some day, and LOOK AT YOU NOW!!! 

I'm proud of you, Elena.  You've done an awesome job, honoring your surgeon and your tool.

Your awesome and such an inspiration....But I do have to say 1 thing,

I told you so.....I told you a long time ago that I bet you will be my size.....I knew you could do it.....
