I am down 1.5 this week,   ugh!  Need to do better

Still really struggling with protein intake.  Could that be causing a problem?  I am exercising every day, and not eating more than about 500 calories per day.  Frustrating!!

I hate to hijack this post, but you need to up your calories a bit.  Your body thinks its on a desert island with no food in sight!

I had trouble with protein, too.  Have you tried the AMP WHEYBOLIC from GNC?  Mixed with ice and skim milk it is smooth and tastes good. 

Don't get too frustrated . . . you ARE losing and will get where you want to go.   Best of luck and congrats on losing about 50 pounds.   Good for you!!

For where I am in the process, I really can't get anymore food down.  I'm less than 4 weeks out from surgery.   I can do about 1/4-1/2 cup food per meal.

I'm lactose intolerant, and even more sensitive to dairy since the surgery, so dairy protein is a problem.  I can't tolerate any of the powdered proteins--they all taste disgusting and make me nauseated!!    I have soy protein from GNC, I have Chike, I've tried Isopure, MuscleMilk and others, but I just can't stomach them.

I do make sure I eat protein first at any meal, but I get full pretty fast.  That's a good thing compared to the "old" days, but makes it hard to get protein in.  :-/

Oh, I'm sorry.   I didn't notice that you are only a few weeks out.   Fifty pounds already!   WOW!!
I'll keep my advice to myself in the future until I look at surgery dates!   Or maybe not.  Have you tried the syntrax nectars?
