Do you think it would be okay to drink that nasty nasty stuff like I had to before surgery?  Do you think that would help speed things along?  What is your thoughts on that.........

My thoughts on that are -  I wouldn't do the mag cit without putting a call in to your doctor first.

Could mess you up worse.  If you're kinda impacted with poo, I don't know if that stuff would soften up what's already hard and help flu**** through your plumbing.

I agree with Darla to call your Doc first.  Chances are they will prescibe or tell you to take a bottle of mag cit. (with juice or pop) but your innards are different now and he may not.  Make sure that your Dr. is familiar with the procedure that you had if your not calling the surgeon himself.
I'm a surgical nurse student and mag cit. is used for many pre-op procedures HOWEVER, only your Dr. know precisely how you are "plumbed".
Good Luck my dear!!

I'd try something more gentle first, like a stool softener.  In fact, I will be doing that myself tonight, I think we have something of the same problem.  :-)
