3 Weeks Post Op!!

I had my 3 weeks post op today and I lost a total of 40 pounds WWOOOOOWWWW!!!!  I was so surprised.  Seems kinda fast but my nurse it was just fine.  I do still struggle in getting my waters in and I hope I can get my number of cups up.  I always have water with me and I am always sipping but its not enough to get my 6-8 waters a day.  I barely get 2-3.  Not sure why water hurts going down but not milk.

I already have some WOW Moments and I was surprised I already have them:

My Bra closes at the last hook in
my rings fit me
I went down from a size 22 to 18 pants (which I have all sizes in my closet haha)
My back, knees and hip don't hurt as much any more
I can bend down with out making OUCH noises(in which I didn't even notice until my son said to me "mom! you just bend down and picked that up with out any pain and so simple, I was ya you a re right, I didn't even noticed it.")
I can walk with out asking to sit down after 20 steps

So I am amazed at myself!!!

I'm so happy for you! It is all the little things that we live with everyday that makes the biggest difference, it is not just the weight.

It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

How awesome and motivating! I'm about 3 weeks pre-op ****ep writing that so it seems real to me that it's just around the corner) and would be over the moon to be able to write something like that when I'm 3 weeks on the other side of surgery.

Keep up the great work.
