Struggling at 2 years
I'm nearly two years out, and the weight gain has commenced. I'm up 7 lbs from my goal. In the interests of accountability, I will post my daily intake here-- I need some support from the group.
I haven't posted in a long while. My 45 yr old stepdaughter died suddenly and unexpectedly last October, and all my energies have been devoted to assisting my husband and family through the after math. My exercise program came to a complete stop, too.
We did aquire a puppy, so daily walks are commencing.
Today's food intake:
2 soft cooked eggs
CLICK protein shake

Being aware is the biggest part of the battle, and you are already there.
Remember, although we may not like it, a bit of re-gain is fairly common - I believe the worst thing you can do is beat yourself up over it. All that does is set up a nasty downward cycle. Stress happens, as you well know. We have all self-"medicated" with food at some time or another. Forgive yourself and look ahead. And NEVER lose sight of how far you've come in your overall WLS journey!!!

We all eat different amounts, but to me that doesn't look like enough?
Exercise is key in losing......And I need to do more of that myself.....I too gained back weight, and have maintained a weight gain of 15 pounds.....
Myself I eat 1200 cal. and I maintain on that, if I go up to 1300 I gain....
Good luck, it's so hard to lose now at the maintenance stage.....
