Hungry all the time!
I'm a year post op this month and for the past few weeks I've been feeling very hungry.
I find myself eating almost constantly. I am so afraid that my old habits are starting to resurface and that I am going to stretch out my stomach.
I don't dump, really. Certain sweets make me dump while others don't. I no longer eat fast food or fried foods, but I am still scared that I am going to fail at this.
Does anyone have any advice for me?

Well this should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway.
Dense protein should always come FIRST and FOREMOST in your food choices. If it doesn't, making that adjustment may very well help. Slider foods and carbs don't stick with you as long as meats and cheeses. And if you get those in first, you will probably find you have less room for the other foods that you need less of, anyway.
Also, take a really good, hard "look" at your hunger - is it truly a physical sensation, or is there a bit of "head hunger" at play?

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
I know I am slipping back into old patterns, eating just because things are there and not necessarily because I am hungry. It is always worse at a certain time of the month also.
I do put protein above everything, that is always the first thing that I eat before anything else. It sucks though, because I was just told my Vitamin D levels are too high so I need to cut down on dairy. That makes it hard since so many protein rich foods that I consume are dairy based.
