Is it just me or does anyone have problems with eggs

I've tried eggs a few time, scrambled, fried, hard boiled, whites, yolk.................. they make me want to hurl!   I thought I'd adjust but not so much!    Hmmmmm, I know lots of folks can't have chicken and I can eat it no problem.  But I've not heard of anyone say they couldn't tolerate egg, so I was just curious.

I'm mostly healed from my gallbladder and endo surgery, just get sore at the end of the day after spending the day with the boys, but all in all good.  I know now that my gallbladder was acting up for awhile now, I just wasn't sure what it was.  So I'm glad it out.

Hope you are having a good day

I actually had a really hard time with eggs too, for the first several months.  I started adding salsa to a scrambled egg, sometimes melted cheese, and now it's one of my favorite breakfasts!

Ham in any form was hard for me, and sometimes still is.    And white meat chicken?  ugh...

I know that my Nut said to eat egg beaters or poached eggs because scrambled and any other way eggs are made are very hard for others on the pouch.  Makes them sick.

Hope this helps.

I had issues with eggs and still do quite a bit depending on how they are cooked...like Darla, i have to add things to it to kind of "break up" the texture of the egg to make it easier on my pouch to digest.

Ditto to a couple of others!  Pre-surgery I was a big egg person!  Give me scrambled, omelets, fried - whatever and mmmmm!  Now, however, I seem to only tolerate poached and if a hard boiled is on a salad or deviled or egg salad, I can, and do, eat them.  Oh, well.  Not a big deal for me.  I haven't tried the eggbeaters, but I might just do that.

Glad  you got your gallbladder out!  I had mine out years ago - the attacks were awful.

I've still got my tummy vs. a pouch and I still don't tolerate eggs 100%. It's more the texture than anything for me to be honest and I usually do better with fried, but still, it comes and goes.

I'm 10 weeks out and I can eat most any kind of egg SLOWLY. I havent tried real scrambled eggs yet but egg beaters taste the same to me. I just have to remember to measure them instead of guessing how much to use

I couldn't eat eggs for several months after surgery, but now I can tolerate them ok.  Some days are better than others.
