Today is the day

Surgery is today, up at 3:00 not because I have an early OR time-it's because I have this internal clock that tells me WAKE-UP at the dumbest times! I hate insomnia!

None the less, today is the day and I AM READY!!!!!!  Everything that needs to be done, is done! I can't wait for this part to be over so I can move forward! I am excited, nervous, giddy, but most of all READY to begin the next chapter in my life.

I tried to think of the most important reason to be moving forward with this surgery and what I decided is there is not just one; there are so so many reasons why I decided to do this! This tool that I am receiving today almost feels like a key that is going to unlock the rest of my life, my responcibility is to not lose the key so that I don't end up locked out of what could be!

Thanks to everyone on OH, especially you fellow Minnesotans! Without the information and knowledge I have gotten here from you, I would be out of my mind with fear!

Well, I am home, got home last night. Still pretty tired and have enough pain that i feel like crud! I am drinking and walking and as far as I am concerned those are my only goals!
