Nurses STRIKE!!!!
They strike on Tuesday the July 6 and my surgery is on July 8th. I am so worried knowing my luck they will have to rechedule me. I did recieve a call from a nurse telling me at this point they do not know if they will or not...HHHEEELLLLOOOOO did they forget they put me on a Clear liquid Diet!!?? LOL! I would hate to make it longer than that. This lquid diet is not an easy thing, as I am sure you all know.
Is there anyone out there that can calm me down a little. I also worry that the care in the hospital might suck if they decide to not rescedule. so i really do not know what to do. if anyone has any ideas I would like to hear form you.

My suggestion to you is just keep doing what you are doing with the liquid diet and look at it like they are not striking and the surgery will go on as planned. If they do end up striking and you do end up rescheduling, it's not the end of the world-yes, it sucks big time, but it will be OK.
If you do have to continue on your liquid diet for an extra couple of days, you can look on the bright side...your body will be in the best shape it can be for the surgery and that will only benefit you and your recovery.
