Got my first Tattoo on Vacation!!
Well - we had a great time on vacation, it was so needed. Now getting ready for my daughter's open house this weekend, UGH!
I did get my first tattoo on my right calf - it is 3 daisy's with some vine work. One flower for each of my daughters. I have not got a pic to share here yet, but if you are my friend on Facebook, I have pics there!
I ate very well - and swam a ton! I managed to lose 3 lbs while gone, so that is not so bad! Sooooo close to ONEderland, I can see it - not so far off anymore!
Hope to make coffee again soon!

Okay, let me just clear up that notion. Unless you get a tat on your inner thigh, your lower belly or the underside of your upper arm, that whole "it'll look horrible after I lose weight" notion is a bunch of hooey!
I got one on my right shoulder blade 3 years before surgery - it looks fine. I got a butterfly just below my thumb on my right hand a week before surgery, to forever remind me of my new eating habits. It looks fine. (It's in my profile photos.) And I got one on my lower left calf celebrating 150# down. My only regret with that one is the placement - I LIKE where it is, but I can really only see good it in the mirror, when I put my foot up on the vanity.
I say - GO FOR IT! But be warned, they're somehow rather addicting!

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
Awesome! I got a lotus flower on my calf at the begining of April-in Japnese tattoo culture it signifies struggle and beauty...seemed fitting. I'm going to add onto it once I get some extra $$ saved up.
I have to agree with Darla though-they are very addicting! I currently have 5 tattoos, but I defnitely forsee myself getting a lot more...especially now that my hubby is a tatto apprentice at 7th Street Tattoo. He should hopefully be finishing up with it in the next month or so and then can start practicing.

Put pic on my profile of the tattoo.
